Zebedee Jones is a British painter whose work is held in major public collections including Tate, the National Galleries of Scotland, and the Arts Council of Great Britain. Educated at Chelsea College of Art & Design (MA, Honours) and Norwich School of Art (BA, Honours, Fine Art), Jones has exhibited widely across the UK, Europe, and the US. His solo shows include Agnew’s, London; Mummery + Schnelle, London; Slewe Gallery, Amsterdam; Danese, New York; and the New Art Centre, Wiltshire. Group exhibitions have featured at leading institutions such as Tate Liverpool, Waddington Galleries, Hayward Gallery, and Galerie Lelong, Zurich. His practice, grounded in materiality and gesture, continues to explore the tension between abstraction and representation within the language of contemporary painting.
